Colin's Corsa B originally started life as a Corsa 1lt "Sting" and it has gone through a hell of a transformation!!

The Beginning

The Spec

It's now fully seam welded. It's had a roof change to delete the sunroof for the cage. It's painted outside, inside and underneath. Corsa GSi body kit. All the running gear is powder coated. All of it is practically been upgraded, better than the day it rolled off the production line!!

Inside It's got a full 16 point Sparco rollcage in, flocked dash with instrument panel, Sparco Torino seats, TRS 3" harnesses, Sparco Course steering wheel with quick rack. Compbrake 1.5l fuel swirl pot was Aeroquip fittings and teflon fuel lines.



The engine is a fully forged C20LET with CP 87mm Pistons, PEC H-Section rods, ARP rod bolts, ARP main bolts and ARP head studs. ACL rod and main bearings, under piston cooling jets, balanced crank throughout, Astra VXR oil pump with modified oil pickup. 1.9mm Cometic head gasket. Ported and polished COSCAST cylinder head and running on MSD 470cc injectors and EDS Phase4 software.

Colin would be happy with a healthy 350ish bhp when run in and mapped. The engine is built to take more if he wanted to push it. Alloy radiator with twin Kenlowe fans. Large intercooler and ALL engine bay hoses for the coolant, breathing and boost piping are ALL Roose Motorsport.



Gearbox is a fully rebuilt 6 speed F28 with a Quafie Limited Slip Differential and equal length shaft setup. Fuel is a twin pump setup with all Aeroquip lines and fittings. Suspension is GAZ Gold front adjustable coilovers and adjustable rear damping. Full poly bushed throughout with Whiteline beefier anti-roll bars from and rear.

Turbo is a K26 hybrid unit with a 360deg bearing, Audi S3 compressor wheel and a PipeWerx 3" custom exhaust system.

Brakes are 288mm solid disks up front with 4 pot Wilwood midilyte callipers with Wilwood fast road pads. Astra MK3 GSi rear disk setup with EBC disks and EBC green stuff pads. Braided brake lines throughout with a Compbrake bias pedal box with in car adjustment. Wheel are 16" Compomotive MO5.

The car is not quite finished yet and is still a big project for Colin, this is going to be a car to watch and we looking forward to seeing the finally result!!
