Allisport/Roose Toyota Land Cruiser 80 series 4.2 12V Intercooler Kit

This is a highly efficient intercooler system designed and built by AlliSport which fits in front of the radiator, and uses a combination of silicone hoses and aluminium pipework to connect to the engine. Allisport use a very high spec vacuum brazed aluminium core for maximum cooling efficiency and all their products are TIG welded by hand for strength. Their design does not require any modifications to the A/C system if fitted and their pipework layout is not exposed to areas where damage could occur such as routing under the front or within wheel arches.
Thermal stress on the engine is reduced as the combustion temperature or EGT is lowered dramatically, and the cooler, denser air has a higher oxygen content allowing the fuel to be burnt more completely and efficiently.
As the vehicle is not electronically controlled, there is no ECU to remap, so they optimise the fuel and boost settings to match the intercooler mechanically.
The power and torque will increase by 25-30% with improved economy and throttle response. Fuel economy generally improves by around 12-15%.
Allisport have recently developed an inlet manifold adapter meaning the kit is completely “bolt-on” with no modifications to the original inlet manifold. This is included in the kit.
The kit comes with all pipework layout and installation instructions,including pump and boost adjustment.
