High efficiency, direct replacement alloy radiator for Defender V8 with one Integral Oil Cooler and twin 11.5” Spal fans. Designed for simple installation with no modifications required, radiator is supplied with integral fan control thermostatic switch, all you will need is a suitable relay and associated wiring.Over 35% better cooling than standard, ideal for high output engines or extreme ambient temperatures. Constructed using our special controlled atmosphere brazed cores and optimum 12 fins per inch (FPI) for maximum cooling in all environments.Hand built and fully TIG welded in high grade aluminium to resist corrosion.All pipe connections are swaged for pipe security and our radiators are tested to 25 psi (far higher than release pressure of the original cap). New developments in antifreeze technology has meant that certain cars now being built using
Organic Acid Technology (OAT) or Hybrid Organic Acid Technology (HOAT) Formulations. These new
types of antifreeze are designed to have an extended service life of 5 years or 150000 miles.
These new grades of OAT have an anti-corrosion component in them which can be harmful to
Silicone and rubber components. Due to this Roose Motorsport have introduced a new OAT liner
which we apply to all our coolant hoses to comply with Euro 6 regulations.
